Our day starts at 6 am when Vince wakes us up by chatting in his crib. Vivi follows within a half hour and we then wake up poor Ali. Their appetites have really increased. Last night after their 4 pm bottle, they ate a jar of peas, then a jar of applesauce followed by half a jar of green beans. So they're eating at least 32 oz of formula, two bowls of cereal and 2-3 jars of food. Thankfully my sis-in-law convinced me to make our own baby food so we can afford to feed them. :)
Here is a pic of Vivi in her humidity tent from when she was sick. Thankfully she was still pretty happy and the sickness wasn't too bad. Let's pray we continue to stay healthy until the community's RSV and influenza outbreak is over and spring begins!
Ali is helping Daddy make dinner.
Vince is super strong and loves to stand. If you prop him up, he'll stay there for several minutes.
We went to Mike and Karen's for Kari's birthday dinner and Vince sat with us at the table. He'd open his mouth like a baby bird every time food was passed between Clint and me. He got a taste of mashed potatoes and really loved the rice cracker Gummy gave him. You can see him diving into some food in this pic. He's so impatient, his stomach seems bottomless.
Vivi has such tiny hands, but she really loves holding things and examining them.
The girls just melt my heart. They often stare at each other and hold hands, smiling. I feel like the little pats are letting each other know they're there. :)
Vince has learned to slap things and explore with his hands. The evening this picture was taken, he was really curious about Daddy's mouth. He kept opening it and looking inside.
Vince holds his own bottle every feeding and Vivi can hold the second half of her bottle. Ali is a little lazy right now, but we're working on her.
Vince can sit up on his own now. It will be nice when he can crawl and get to what he wants. Right now they're pretty demanding but can't tell us what they want. It's an exhausting day of guessing.
Baby Einstein is like crack for these three.
At their Dr.'s appointment last week, Dr. Gilbert said we were on a few more weeks of quarantine. Karen and my Mom could watch me almost start crying. I really want them to stay healthy but I also can't take being cooped up anymore. So last Thursday we dressed up in our western wear and went to surprise Daddy and Papa at the store. The trips had no stranger danger, they just kept smiling at everyone.
At their Dr.'s visit last week Vince weighed 18 lbs 11 oz, Ali was 17 lbs 8 oz and Vivi was 15 lbs 14 oz. Me being super cheap, we've stuffed them into size 2 diapers for the last few weeks since we had them on hand. By tonight they'll be in size 3's and much more comfortable. :)
Vince has been rolling from front to back for several weeks and yesterday Vivi did the same. And this morning Vince rolled from back to front. I have a feeling that guy will be crawling within a couple months. He's so strong and such a ham. All three are very vocal and try to be louder than each other.
Vince is also teething. We can feel a tooth about to come through. So far he isn't too fussy, just trying to gnaw on everything he can get his hands on including Ali's forearm.
Last night was our first injury. Vince kicked a plastic toy over and it landed on Ali's head. Small scrape there but I'm sure this is just the beginning of smacking each other. :)
We survived removing their swaddles and letting them soothe themselves back to sleep. I'll be excited when, at closer to a year old, they go back to sleeping a little longer. But we can't really complain about 10 hours of solid sleep at 7 months old.
We're getting really excited for our trip to Boise, then Twin Falls. It will be an adventure for sure, but I love showing off my babies. Overall, they're so happy and extremely healthy, we are just truly blessed! xoxo

Margi dear - I so very much understand just wanting to get out! You'll make it, you will. And, just like everything else, you will look back and wonder how you survived and the babies thrived. As soon as you are off quarantine, let me know and Pearl and I will head up for a visit. -Sarah
