Completely Insane

I've turned insane, demonstrating that last week. Who thought it was a good idea to take three (under-two) toddlers on an 11 hour roadtrip?  Me.  Yep, insane.

Vivi rocking a double nose pick.

Ali thought that sounded good too.

 Vince, pre-first head injury.

We stopped at the rest stop outside of Moscow and Vince fell on the curb and got his first of three goose eggs.

The kids' first parade, 4th of July, in Buhl at Sagebrush Days. They did awesome!

Ali definitely didn't like the sirens, engine backfires or semi air-horns. Despite a couple freak-outs, they did awesome. I think we're set for parades now. :)

That afternoon we went to Christi's for a BBQ. Here Vince LOVED the bounce house!

As usual, my girls turned into spider monkeys, refusing to detach from me while "strangers" were around. Vince however, proceeded to eat off others' plates and attempt to drink abandoned beers. That kid is giving me gray hair already.

The next day we attempted pictures of the six grandkids. Mom wanted them professionally at Sears but Christi and I knew how that would go. See the evidence on how "well" it went. LOL

On Friday we went to my cousin Paige's house in Boise. She has 4 (almost 5) year-old twins, Treston and Taylor. Taylor loved the babies and was trying to take care of them. So cute!

We visited more friends Saturday morning and then tried to drive home as fast as possible. I can assure you we're not leaving again until they're 12. Okay, maybe 10 :)

  1. Margi, you are my hero. Three kids on a road trip? Let me tell you what - we just took two kids on their first road trip down to Salt Lake to see my family, and I freaked out about it for weeks before we went. Guess what, everybody lived! Looks like you had fun! Love your pics, but don't stress about posting - you have enough other things to think of :)
